Tiffany Algu, Certified NTIS-L3, graduated from Nicholls State University with a Bachelor’s in Marketing and Culinary Arts as well as a Master’s in Business Administration. She is experienced in both the food and business industries, and is currently the Human Resources Onboarding Supervisor with Abuse Refuge Org. She has been volunteering with ARO since February 2022.
Tiffany is skilled in Norm Therapy® techniques such as catching lies in action and asking the important questions that may be tougher to answer. She is also familiar with the 21 types of abuse that ARO addresses. She has strong computer literacy skills, writing, administrative tasks, time management, and organizing skills.
Tiffany is a team player, detail oriented, dedicated, innovative, emotionally intelligent, a good listener, and trustworthy. She is very approachable, and always tries to make others feel at ease. Some of her recent achievements include: completing her thesis in undergrad regarding customer behavior, joining SHRM and becoming a part of the University Social Responsibility Committee and Merit Award Chair Committee. She has also been a recipient of the ARO 2-Star certificates within the last twelve months, and a certificate from Harvard for a CIS course. Having graduated from the December ‘22 NTIS Training Program, Tiffany is also an NTIS Mentor and is available for interview sessions during mornings & afternoons EST.
